Heute konnte erfolgreich die heiß begehrte Domain BurnIRC endlich wieder übernommen werden, nun heißt es alles daran setzen um die Historie wieder zu beleben

Services

Wie in vielen anderen Netze auch, gibt es im BurnIRC sog. Services.

Diese dienen hauptsächlich zum Registrieren von Nicks und Chans und stellen somit einen effektiven Schutz
gegen Take-Over Attacken da.

Somit werden keine Eggdrops benötigt um im BurnIRC Channels vor Take-Over Attacken zu schützen!

Folgende Services-Bots gibt es im BurnIRC:

NickServ	Erlaubt es einen Nick zu registrieren und somit mit einem Passwort zu sichern.
ChanServ	Erlaubt es einen Channel zu registrieren und OP/Halfop/Voice automatisch nach Belieben des 'Founders' zu verteilen
MemoServ	Erlaubt das Senden von Memo's an andere Nutzer. Memo's kommen im Gegensatz zu gewöhnlichen Messages oder Notices auch an wenn der User gerade nicht online ist.
BotServ	Stellt verschiedene Bots mit verschiedenen Funktionen zur Verfügung die von Usern selbst in ihre Channel geholt werden können.
